Each of these wetlands will be restored under a comprehensive scheme of the National Plan for Conservation of Aquatic Ecosystems (NPCA) for conservation and restoration of wetlands and lakes.
2018 sixth-warmest year in India, says IMDIMD said annual mean surface air temperature (averaged over the country) during the year was 0.41 degree Celsius above (1981-2010) average. “All the six warmest years on record in India were in the last 10 years.
