Mumbai: In what will likely increase demand for travem, no home quarantine will be mandated for domestic passengers flying into Maharashtra, according to a notice issued yesterday.
Before then, domestic passengers arriving at airports such as Mumbai would be stamped on their hands to be in mandatory home quarantine for 14 days.
Airlines such as IndiGo issued notices to the effect on Thursday. People have been putting off travel plans primarily because of quarantine rules from various state governments.
Meanwhile the government has allowed airlines to deploy up to 75% of their domestic capacity.
