Anand wants to purchase wireless chargers for his phones so he doesn’t have to keep plugging them in and out time and again.
Akash Anand, MD, Bimakaro & Deerika didn't want to give the desk in his home office an office-like feel.

"I don’t like many items on my desk and prefer using as few things as possible. Therefore, I only have a telephone, two smartphones, a laptop, a paper pad and a red notebook," he told ET Panache.

Cosy nook
Anand likes the fact that his home office is comfortable and most efficient. "I don’t want to give my desk an office-like feel. I’m happy that it’s in my room because it just reminds me I don’t have to wait in traffic for an hour daily simply to start working. I have only got my laptop from the office, nothing else. The reason I brought my laptop home was there is no other way I could WFH otherwise. I like being efficient," he said.

Anand has begun using the space in his room more efficiently. "I don’t sit and work all day. I prefer to walk and work in my home office, which protects me from developing a bad backache. So that’s been a good addition to my habits. I have got a phone stand and nice wireless earphones. My most expensive buy in the office has been my MacBook Air," he said.

Anand would love to purchase wireless chargers for his phones so he doesn’t have to keep plugging them in and out time and again.

"I spend around 11 to 12 hours a day in my home office, which is not healthy, I realise, now that I am answering this question. And yes, the family is allowed in but they usually don’t bother me unless it is something important or urgent," he ended.
