Food for thought: Millennials pick Paris, Italy as their holiday destination for the cuisine

For millennials, cuisine is the most appetising factor for zeroing in on a vacation spot.

The way to a millennial’s heart is through his/her stomach, at least when it comes to picking a holiday destination.

A recent study covered over 9,000 respondents across 29 countries and showed that while for two thirds of Indian millennials, nightlife, adventure activities and cultural experiences do matter; cuisine is the most appetising factor for zeroing in on a vacation spot.

Italy (27 per cent), Singapore (26 per cent) and United States (26 per cent) have topped a list of the hottest spots on earth for foodie millennials in India food even wins over friends, with 60 per cent of respondents saying that they would rather take pictures of their food than their friends to post on social media.
