Divij Bajaj, Founder, Power Gummies, has upped his use of tech, but makes sure to take an hour off his screen daily:

Screen time:
Screen time has increased for the whole world and for me as well. The first couple of months were hectic as everyone was trying to adjust to work from home and I was on my phone 24/7. In the last few months, I’ve made a conscious choice to take some time off my phone everyday and spend time with my family.

Must have:
I am glued to my iPhone and MacBook. Right now, it would be fair to say that all 90% of the time it’s for my business.

Call on me:
I’m currently using the iPhone 11 and have been a loyal customer of Apple for years. I have used Android as well but I find managing my work over IOS seamless and effortless.

Treat yourself:
My latest buy is iPhone 12 as it comes in the design of my ever favourite iPhone 5 design shape along with the newly launched features like fastest chip ever, super retina XDR display and all-screen OLED display and camera quality as good as of a DSLR.

Business of leisure:
I really like Instagram and think it has something for everyone. It is a great marketing medium for businesses like ours to create direct communication with the end-users in multiple ways. For work, I would recommend Google Drive, due to the fact that a lot of my team members can access the brand documents and creatives at the same time. Also, at least one news related app is a must, I use the ET times app to keep me updated.

Watch it:
I keep a regular workout routine and track my workouts with the Apple Watch which helps me access my work calls, emails and even social media notifications even when my phone isn’t around.

Work flow:
Even the office discussions which used to happen together in the conference room area are now being conducted over communication applications like Slack, Zoom and Google Chat. It has led to a never-ending screen time for work for sure. I am a proficient user of Google Calendar to organise my work commitments and priorities.

Mic drop:
When it comes to noise cancelling headphones, I stick to my Apple AirPods Pro which is great for noise cancelling and also to avoid any distractions while working. It also helped that I informed my family members in advance about any important meetings or calls so they know that I should not be disturbed.

Yash Dongre Business head at House of Anita Dongre

“I have fine-tuned my baking skills. Although my wife Benaisha and I aren’t vegan, the rest of the house is. So, during the lockdown, vegan baking took centrestage. Benaisha makes the best chocolate mousse cake. It’s made with dates, almond flour and coconut milk — it’s a huge hit. I find baking therapeutic. It’s a precise activity where the outcome is as perfect as the work that goes into it. If you follow the instructions, the end result is good. I love that.”
