Sensex rose by 453 points. And Nifty closed at 11,550. The rise is thanks to RIL and bank stocks.With Yes Bank gaining 16% at the time of close.

Our Finance Minister met foreign investors today. At a meeting in the IMF headquarters, Sitharaman made a case for India. She pitched India’s viability as an investment option. Highlighting the massive amounts of the skilled workforce the country has. While also assuring investors that the government will support all necessary policy changes that will help foreign investment. Let’s hope the FM’s pitch works, it’s all the better for us.

Now for some bad news! Customers of the PMC Bank..Who was already facing a crisis..Have been plunged into the deep end now.. Ever since the RBI freeze on PMC, withdrawal has been capped..And since their accounts are frozen, they cannot make loan payments taken on their PMC accounts.. Nor can they pay their credit card bills.. With effects their credit score..Which will, in turn, affect their ability to take loans in the future..They are trying their best, though..They met former PM Manmohan Singh, in a bid for help..And the former PM has appealed to the government..It remains to be seen what happens.

Jio has written another letter to Trai..What is it this time? More charges? No, actually. This letter says Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL - Jio’s competition, have been falsifying reports to earn more money.
